Caleb Steiner '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caleb Steiner I am a 6-foot shooting guard/wing guard from Mexico in the 2023 graduating class. I currently have a 4.1 weighted GPA. I moved to Mexico in 2017, at the end of my 6th-grade year. I had played basketball all my life in northern California. Still, when I got to Mexico, finding a team to play on was nearly impossible. So for 7th and 8th grade, I shot baskets in my front yard on a broken-down basketball hoop. Then in 2019, I started high school in San Diego at the Rock Academy, partly for academics and partly for my love of basketball. My commute consists of driving 1.5 - 2 hours a day one way. I'm up at 5 am and cross an international border on my way to and from school. Most days during basketball season, I'm not home until between 7:30-10pm. I love the game of basketball and would want to play anywhere I can.
