Abhi Namala '23 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to play basketball at the collegiate level to improve as a person both on and off the court. I positively impact any team I play for due to my love and passion for the game. While I may not be the most athletic on the court, I strongly believe that my attitude is what sets me apart from the average player. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get a win and most importantly, I am able to pass my energy to my teammates and always look to make the right play.  I take up the role of leader understanding the responsibilities that come with it. 

We always start practice with a "thought" to consider during practice. The quote that stood out to me the most was by Pat Summit; “You can't always be the most talented person in the room. But you can be the most competitive” which is a  mentality I display on the court at all times.
