My name is Ilan Zur and I am a 17 year old, entering my senior basketball season at Summerfield Waldorf High School. I am 6 "5,185 lbs shooting guard and I will do whatever it takes to play top level college basketball. I hold a 4.0 GPA and I am very focused on my academics and grades as well as playing top level basketball. My education is very important to me and I liked to be challenged acadmically as well as on the court.
I earned All League Honorable Mention in my freshman year and All League First Team as well as All Tournament MVP in my sophomore year. As a junior I earned multiple All Tournment MVPS and won my League MVP as well, was honored as School Athlete of the Year, and was named to the All Area Redwood Empire First Team. As a senior I am now averaging 29.1 points per game and have just won Most Valuable Player of our first tournament.
With 29 points per game I am leading the Californa North Coast Section in scoring. I want to play high level college basketball and I will do whatever it takes to take my game to the next level and make my team win. I live in Sebastopol, CA but I will move wherever I need to go in order to play ball. I am very serious about playing college basketball and I work hard and play everyday in the hopes to play college basketball. I believe I can play division 1 basketball and make an impact on the team I play with and I am also open to playing division 2 and 3. I am very motivated and dedicated to my goal of college basketball and look forward to playing in front of college coaches and scouts.
I am already playing at a strong varsity level averaging 29.0 ppg, 11 rebounds per game, 4 assists per game and 3.0 steals per game and I want to play against the best. I am a true team player and very versatile. I can handle the ball well, pass well, I shoot the three very well (I had a game with 8 threes) and very importantly I can post up smaller players. I am a very well rounded player who knows the game very well. I can score the ball in many different ways but I can also set up my team mates for easy buckets. I attack the hoop very aggressively and shoot very well at the free throw line. ( First dunk was at age 15)
I am beinning to attract interest from coaches and I am looking forward to coming to scrimmage with college teams once the season is over. I believe I can make a valuable contribution to any college team that contacts me. If you contact me I promise I will not disappoint you. I will do whatever it takes to be the best player possible. Let me know if you have any interest.
