Kenneth Wooten Jr. '16 Recruiting Profile

Ever since the 8th grade, when I first started playing, I fell deeply in love with basketball.  I want more than anything to play in college and be a part of a championship team. Although I am currently 6' 8" and weigh 210 pounds, I have a 7"2" wingspan and a 38.9" vertical leap. I am still growing, and I am working hard to fill-out my length with extra work in the weight room and eating right. I am an extremely athletic forward/center right now, but I am working hard on extending my game outside of the arc to be an inside/outside threat for my high school team and then into college.

I am currently the team leader in blocks per game, and I am one of the top rebounders in our division. Last year, I was recognized by my coaches as the team's Most Outstanding Player on the JV team.

My dream is to attend a college where I can receive a good education while working on a Business degree and eventually earning my MBA. My ultimate dream is to earn an opportunity to play with and against the best in the world in the NBA.

Although I would love to go to college close to home, so my family could watch me play more often, I am open to any and every opportunity to be a part of a great University and basketball program. I want to be coached and motivated to reach my potential in the classroom and on the court, so I am looking forward to building relationships with coaches who believe in me and my fit for their program.
