I am a 6'7" Sophomore currently playing at Hamline University in Minnesota. I played my Freshman year at Division 2 Notre Dame De Namur University in Belmont, California. I played varsity basketball at Amador High School in Sutter Creek, California. In high school I maintained a 3.3 GPA while taking honor classes. I have been playing basketball since the 2nd grade. I have played at more competitive levels since then both on school teams and on two traveling AAU teams based out of Sacramento, CA. My high school team was runner-up in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championship 2010-2011, won last years 36 annual Quarterback Club Invitational for the third consecutive year, and I was chosen All Tourney for the tournament. Our team also won last years Otis Spunkmeyers Invitational Tournament where I was chosen All Tourney. Additionally, I was chosen Athlete of the Week by the Amador Ledger Dispatch, a local newspaper in my town. My high school team did quite well that year; we were ranked #3 in the Sac-Joaquin Section IV at the end of the season and beat the number 1 ranked Modesto Christian during playoffs, who is the division 4 powerhouse in our section. I was chosen team MVP for the 2010 -2011 season. You can follow my team, Amador High School, on the Maxpreps.com. I have also included several newspaper articles which you can view on my profiles & press links section on this NCSA profile page. My junior year my team and I went to the CIF Section Playoffs. My junior year I was named Best Offensive Player and 1st Team All Mother Lode league as a junior. I am looking for an institution where I can challenge myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I would like to attend a university with good academic values, and which has a highly competitive sports program. I would like my field of work to be in sports medicine where I can be involved with helping and caring for athletes. Pursuing this career may enable me to obtain a position with a collegiate or professional team. I am also interested obtaining a business management degree.
