Andrew Cox '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Andrew Cox and I have been playing basketball since I was four years old and it has stuck with me ever since. Over the years I have gotten more serious with basketball and will do whatever it takes to play at the next level while pursuing a degree in sports management. I am naturally motivated and I push my self both athletically and academically. I am a team player with good morals that plays with passion, love and with something to prove every time I step on the court. My whole life I feel I have been overlooked and will continue to work hard to get the recognition that I think I deserve. What I think that separates me from others is that I am very coachable and ask a lot of questions, I accept criticism and always try my best to do better each day and focus on my weaknesses. Going to a small private school at Spirit Christian Academy doesn't attract a lot of attention so I have been playing on Open Gym premier for AAU season. In basketball, all I want to do is win, get better, help my teammates get better and be coached at a high level. I am grateful for any coach that is interested in me and the ones that will give me an opportunity. I will continue to work hard to be prepared for the next level.
