I would like to go to college to be able to provide for myself and future family. Basketball has always been something that I'm very passionate about. I understand the time and commitment that it takes to be a student-athlete. My dream is to become a student athlete and to not have my parents worrying about paying for me to go to college. I am a great unselfish point guard who loves to get my teammates involved and make them better. In my senior season I managed to break the record for assists at my high school recording the most amount of assists in a single game and also averaging the most assists in a single season. I also carried my team to the quarter finals of the Southern Section Division 1AA playoffs which ties for the farthest our school has ever gone. I understand that I have to be a leader by example, physically and verbally. I love working out in the gym wether I am playing basketball or lifting weights. I hope someone can see my current ability & potential to be the point guard of their future program. I truly believe that any team can benefit with me on their roster because of how I can make plays to create open shots for my teammates.
I've been playing basketball since the age of two and since then I have had the opportunity to experience playing against top competition my whole life. Growing up I always played at least a year or two up against competition so I knew that I was always getting better. At the age of twelve I got to experience traveling to places like Virginia to participate in AAU Nationals and many other states to play against the top teams and players in the country. As i grew up I got to play against better and better competition all over the world. I also got the chance to play for a sponsored Pump n' Run team and play in the best tournaments in Vegas against top competition. Throughout my senior year we played in big tournaments and against teams like Sierra Canyon who has kids committed to schools all over the country. During the summer of my senior year I got the opportunity to play in the Drew League against Professional Overseas players and NBA players. All of these places have led me to where I am today which continues my experience playing against top teams such as Oak Hill Academy and Hargrave. Having the chance to play against kids committed to Ohio State, West Virginia, Duke etc has formed me into the fearless competitor that I am today.
