My name is Chris "Cash" Youngblood. I am currently a senior in high school and will be graduating during the summer of 2016. My goal is to attend the University of La Verne and receive a bachelors degree. I am currently undecided for my major but am thinking of pursuing A business degree.
Since, I was young I enjoyed playing basketball with my friends and family. It helped build confidence in myself. Basketball is definitely something I see myself doing in the future. But if that does not happen, my back up plan would be to open my own shoe store.
What makes me a great candidate for any team is that I have grown to be a primary scorer. I have lead my current team in scoring throughout multiple games. I can also be a supporting player. And can easily play all positions on the court. During my junior and senior years, I have averaged double doubles during the course of the entire seasons. My overall game has improved since I began playing organized ball in my junior year and will continue to improve throughout the future.
What makes me different from others players is my determination. When I want something, I work on it until I get it without giving up. I learned this from watching my family struggle to accomplish their goals. Even when things seemed hard for them, they kept at it and made it happen. Because of this, I am not intimidated by other players. No matter how big / small or how skilled they could be, I know I can make it happen because I do not give up.
