Daniel Liese '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember and truly love the game.  I have had the opportunity to play for many coaches along the way that have given me guidance and helped me to improve my game.

I consider myself to have a solid basketball IQ that includes all parts of the game.  I know what it means to play as a team along with playing solid defensive by doing the fundamentals like help and recovery, closeout and screen outs. Offensively, I will look to pass within the offense and will score when given the opportunity.  My coaches have told me that I am very coachable and have a good looking shot.

Both of my parents obtained their graduate degrees from college and I am motivated to follow in their footsteps.  My plan is to obtain my college degree in Education or Kinesiology while playing basketball for my future school and to become either a Physical Education or Science teacher with the ultimate goal in being a High School basketball coach.
