2017 Highlights Personal Statement
I am a team player as well as a leader who has played Varsity 4 years. It has been an honor to play Varsity basketball as a freshman and leading my team to the CIF semi-finals as a sophomore, junior and a senior. I am a self-motivated player who is currently on two (2) AAU travel team rosters in addition to playing during the summer with my high school teammates. Hard work and dedication is what I am committed to on the basketball court as well as in the classroom. I am a Maritime Scholar maintaining between a 3.3 -3.8 currently with 4 AP classes each semester since my freshman year. I maintain great relationships with school staff as well as past and present basketball coaches. I strongly believe in overcoming obstacles and remaining humble.
