Garrett Hansen '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'5" Senior from Windsor, California. I have a 4.32 cumulative GPA and have taken several Honors and AP classes. It will be my second year at the Varsity level this year, and I have started on my freshman and sophmore basketball teams which both won the Conference Title. Additionally, I will be the team captain of my high school team that is predicted to be a solid if not dominant team. It has always been my dream to go to an academic-based school, but if possible, I would like to stay in California. Although athletics are important to me, if I don't have a scholarship to go somewhere, an academically sound school is more of a priority to me. I would like to pursue electrical engineering, or a major in which I can pursue computer design. I have been recognized as most improved in my Freshman year and have rapidly been getting better every year. I have been recognized for my hustle on the floor and my ability to help lead the team. I expect to be an ever improving player as I work my way through the season as the team's captain.
