James Scampolino '26 Recruiting Profile

Welcome to my profile.  

I am a 4 year varsity player and started every game my sophomore and junior season. What I most proud of is that we recorded winning seasons since I became a starter and we recorded the best record in school history this year. 

In my junior year I was named a captain of the varsity team. I helped lead the team to an undefeated record within our division (8-0) and the best overall record in school history. (15-7).  

I earned Second Team All Conference award as a Junior.  

I’m also on the varsity track team and have been making significant improvements to my physical abilities.  

Academically, my school was named 2024-2025 Connecticut Association of Schools “High School of the Year“ for academic excellence and leadership.

I’ve earned honor roll every semester since the sixth grade.  I‘m currently excelling in Honors, ECE, and AP classes.  I have been invited to participate in the NVL leadership camp.   I work at the Aqua Turf banquet facility and it has helped me gain more experience using teamwork in a real work environment.

It is my goal to compete at a high academic college and eventually attend law school.
