I could say all the typical things young athletes say about being a good teammate, hard-working, etc., but I won't.
I want to emphasize that the most important thing for me is being a good person. In fact, I'm very proud that my teachers selected me--out of 1500 students--to be one of only a few Student Ambassadors for my senior year. Even though I'm far from perfect, I believe that striving for success in character and leadership in everyday life pays off in the classroom and on the basketball court.
If I come to your school, you get a good student and a good athlete and, I like to think, a pretty good person too!
