Looking forword to making decision late November 2012 if it takes longer to make my visits i will embrace the time and commit late. I will continue to work hard to impress you.
Basketball started for me at Saint Rose of Lima School, North Syracuse, NY where i attended thru 6th grade. My father introduced me to the game of basketball. St. Rose was a great place to learn with the influences of Coach Chuck Haven and Coach Gary Dembkowski. To this day, I truely respect these great men and hope many other players grow due to their coaching and instruction. I finished St. Rose as a undefeated league champion, I was selected Parochial League Allstar and went on to win parocial league all-star game.
I attended Christioan Brothers Academy grade 7 thru 12. During my HS varsity seasons I played for coaches Ed Leone and Buddy Wlekinski. Both men influenced my game and I respect all my coaches. I graduated Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, NY June 3, 2012. During my last season I was selected Captain of CBA Varsity Team, selected player of many games, selected to all tournament teams, selected Zebra Classic State Diviion 3 All-Star, crowned Zebra Classic Tournament Champion and selected All-Star Player for Zebra Classic Tournament. I was also awarded CBA HS MVP 2012 and crowned league champion. I also led NYS in block shots. With continued support of my parents, they have allowed me the opportunity to train during the off season for the past five years with VB Perfomance / BBA working on speed-stength training and basketball skills. Trainers Vinny Scollo and Ben Bellucci have helped me become a very good athlete and have guided me as big brothers. My parents and I beleive Ben and Vinny are the best in the business working athletes at all levels of competition. Two other men who gave me great advice and mentoring are Mr. Gary Barnaba long time Teacher and Coach at CBA Syracuse and Mr. Bernie Fine former Syracuse University Assistant Coach. They have always appreciated my upside on and off the court.
With continued hard work I am acheiving to play at the highest level of basketball. I bring forth determination to suceed and a very positive mind set to all teams I play on. I believe that chemistry is key to success on the court, with continued wilingness to learn and grow as a unit. My primary goal is to play college basketball at the Division 1 level. I plan to major in Communication Studies, Media Studies, or Astronomy/Physics.
Today, I am attending Saint Thomas More Prep School in Oakdale, CT for a PG year, graduating spring 2013. I am a young 18 year old 9/4/94 and still growin. My parents have given me additional time to continue stength training and improve my skills. I continue my education as an "A" student. My biggest reward is the opportunity to learn and play for the highly respected Coach Jeremiah Quinn. Coach Quinn is a great man and mentor.
My Immediate Goals; Work extremely hard at prep school to obtain NCAA D1 Basketball Scholarship at one of my favorite colleges. Win a Championship!!!
Future Goals; Study at College for four years to obtain my degree while continuing to improve as a basketball player. Win a Championship!!!
Post College Goal; Continue my hard work to play basketball professionally.
Post Basketball; I plan to use College degree to obtain a job and continue to be the best person I can be!!!!!!!!!!!!
Over the past year, I spent a few weeks volunteering at the VA Hospital Syracuse, NY, and experience the most humbling experience in my life. God Bless America's Armed Forces. While volunteering I made a lot of freinds and gained some fans to follow me. We are all so blessed these men and women have our backs.
I continued to volenteer and help youth basketball grow in Central NY at CBA, VB Performance, BBA basketball camps. Helped raise funds for the local CanTeen by playing in the Syracuse Gus Macker Tournament. Not only did we help the charity my team was crowned 2012 Gus Macker 3 on 3 open (blue) division Undefeated Champion 8/12/2012. I was youngest player in the division and received congrats from many current college, former college and pro players I competed against.
At STM I have acheived Chancellors list, top economics student award....all tournament teams, as I continue to improve and grow on and off court.
Coach Jeremiah Quinn the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for your interest in me.
