Tanner Soracco '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tanner Soracco and I am a 6'6 small forward from a small town in Oxford Connecticut. Throughout my life I have played on many teams, with many different coaches, focusing mainly on shooting. Throughout the years I have worked on my shooting, but the person who has taught me the most is my father. He taught me every move I know.  He pushes me every day to get better in sport as well as in school work. Basketball started for me when I was around the age of 5, I would always 1v1 my dad, but I would lose every time. Until I got older and stronger and would start to use his moves and I would look up moves to help my chances of winning. Today my game has interior moves, a consistent mid range jumper, three point range and a strong defensive mentality.

I am looking for a college to focus on a major in Marketing, Management Information System(MIS), or Criminology. As a current junior in high school, I am proud to say I have maintained a 3.1 GPA and I am looking to go to a great college to get the best education while playing my favorite sport. What you get from me is a hard working student athlete with drive, pride and integrity.
