Kamal Muhammad '23 Recruiting Profile

Bouncing a basketball since before third grade, I can say this game has brought me so many places, created so many memories, and presented me with numerous opportunities and achievements. I've been selected as an All-Metro League player twice and been captain of the Lakeside School basketball team for 3 of my 4 years on varsity. In my senior year, I helped Lakeside boys varsity to our winningest year in 6 seasons. To be able to captain a squad like this was a pleasure and it taught me many great lessons on leadership. On top of athletics, I've been able to maintain above a 3.2 gpa at the Lakeside School and completed over 85 hours of community service throughout high school. 

I’m excited to dig into my post-grad year at South Kent School in Connecticut. We have a talented team and we’re working really hard this season.  I’m focused on expanding  my skill set and athleticism and continuing to improve my game.

In college I want to be someone who contributes to a team and helps them win games while also developing into the best player that I can be.
