2020 Highlights Personal Statement
My goals as a student athlete for the future are to play basketball for four successful years at a competitive college , make it to nationals and earn a degree in engineering .
I am a good candidate for your program because I take pride in every competition from practice to pre- and post game rituals. I always keep the mindset that when I step on the court, I am there to work hard and win. I want to push myself and my teammates to make us all better as a team.
I am different from other recruits because I have a good head on my shoulders. I am humble and reflect on where I need to improve. I stay focused on whatever it is I am doing.

- Luke Penna (2023)- Penna played well on both ends of the floor this evening. He really stood out for his toughness on the defensive end and his ability to play without the basketball in his hand which led his teammates to find him on the floor as he was one of the better shooters in the gym.
