In my future collegiate experience, I aspire to play on a college basketball team on which I better myself as a player and an individual. I want to experience fully the challenges that come with playing on a collegiate basketball team in the United States such as traveling, exposure to new cities, and long-lasting connections I may make through a collegiate-level program. In my academic experience, I plan to enter as either a biology major or a student on a pre-professional track in physical therapy in which I can guide athletes, like myself, through situations of injury. As an international student, I hope that the collegiate basketball experience will better my knowledge of the world around me through my teammates and traveling as well as bettering my individual character through dedication and discipline. I believe that being a member of a collegiate basketball team would challenge both my mental and physical abilities for the better in both my academic and athletic interests. I believe I am a good candidate for a collegiate basketball team based on my communication skills, my pushing my team in times of hardship, and my determination to succeed on the court. I use my voice to direct and communicate with my team so that we work cohesively. Even when I am not in the game, I use my connection with my team to create energy on the bench that my on-court teammates can feed off of based on the strong support network that I enjoy creating even off the court. I put in 110% effort in every practice and game and strive to be as flexible and coachable in all situations as possible. Because I am an international student, I am different from other recruits based on my contrasting athletic experiences overseas. I have played with people from all-over and against people from many places globally and I believe that my global experiences prepare me for my collegiate athletic experience. Living away from my family based on my dedication to basketball separates me from other recruits based on my sacrifice and my drive to continue my basketball career on a collegiate level.
