One of the extracurricular activities that is a huge part of my life is basketball. Since elementary school, I have participated in a number of basketball-related opportunities, such as my local recreation teams, travel team, fall ball, school team, summer leagues, and various AAU tournaments. In high school, I put in a lot of time and effort to take part in highly competitive games and tournaments. At times, it was a struggle to balance the academic and athletic aspects of my life, but I can proudly state that my personal growth and character strength are two areas that have greatly benefited from my commitment and passion for the game of basketball. I would very much be interested in continuing playing basketball at the college level and in making the game of basketball an essential part of my undergraduate experience.
