I started playing basketball in South Africa when I was seven years old. My older brother inspired me to play when he joined a club team at the local university. Since then, I have played all around the world, in China, France, Mexico, and the United States. Now, at fifteen years old, I am fortunate enough to be playing for the junior national team at IMG Academy in Florida.
I am an extremely hard worker both on the court and in the classroom. Academics are very important to me and I strive to be the best in my sport and my classes. I try to be a leader and a positive role model for my teammates by being vocal and energetic during practices and games. I am always willing to put the team's success over my own. Many of my coaches have said they appreciate my intensity on defense and my willingness to learn. As I continue to learn I hope to develop into a successful college basketball player.
