2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I am a 6'8” starting Senior C/PF with a 4.04 GPA looking to play at a high level academic university. Academics are extremely important to me as I strive to achieve my goals both on and off the court. As a Senior, I am currently taking both AP and Honors level courses while excelling as a Captain and starting Center for my team at IMG Academy. As both a student and an athlete, I have been told by my teachers and coaches that my greatest attributes are my positive nature, my leadership ability, my ability to work and get along well with others, my listening ability, my willingness to accept feedback and make changes, my overall coachability, and my work ethic. I am always willing to put in the extra work whether it be an extra hour of studying before an exam, an extra weight session with my trainer, or a couple of hundred shots at open gym in the evening after practice. I am not afraid of hard work or commitment as I work towards achieving my goals of studying and playing at a high level academic school.
