Levy Renaud '18 Recruiting Profile

I’m currently a Senior, playing on the Varsity team at University School in Davie Florida, as an occasional starter. I’ve been playing organized basketball since I was six years old and although I am a point guard by training,  I have played all positions on my travel team.  

I started High School playing on JV but worked hard and earned my way onto the varsity basketball team in the first half of my freshman season. My hard work was recognized that year when I received the "Coaches Award" at the end of that season. The past two seasons the coaching staff has granted me the leadership award for my team. My goals for college are to attend a University with high academic standards and where I can play basketball at the highest level possible. 

I am a hard worker both in the classroom and on the court. I am a very coachable player and I strive to make the correct basketball play whenever I’m on the court. My heart, drive and basketball intelligence are what separate me from the competition. If you asked my teammates what they think I do best on the court they would say that my hustle, defense, and decisions are always on point.

I’m a very positive person and get along with all of my classmates and teammates. I take pride in my academics and strive to be the best student-athlete I can be. I’ve been an A/B student throughout my lower school years and intend to do as well or better in my High School years. I will continue to work hard on the off season, building a stronger body and sharpening my basketball skills.  

I hope to have a positive impact in my community and make my family and friends proud.
