Hello! My name is Payden Wayne Ealum and I have played sports the majority of my life. At the age of 4 I started playing basketball, baseball, and soccer with the county recreation program. I continued this journey through my elementary, middle and high school years, picking up golf and tennis along the way. I am currently a Junior at Walton High School where I am on the Varsity teams of basketball (power forward and center), baseball (catcher and LF), and golf. I know I would be a valuable asset for your team because I have great leadership skills and manage my time effectively with sports and school work. I am a teamplayer, have a strong work ethic, and work well under pressure. I am self-motivated, a fast learner, personable and friendly. I attend all practices, meetings, and workouts on time and never give up on myself or my team no matter what the score is at the final buzzer. Basketball has been a major role in my life and has shaped me into the person that I am today. It has shown me how to work hard, believe in myself and my teammates; overcome adversity and obstacles; how to deal with success and failure; how to have and show respect and most importantly how to become a family. I have a passion for basketball and want to play the game every chance I get. I feel that my determination, strong mind, desire to get better, and love for the game are valuable qualities in becoming a basketball candidate for your team.
