Passionate, hard worker and fast learner are some of the characteristics that distinguish me, Adrian Joel Cruz Rojas. I was born in Puerto Rico and this year I transferred to Miami, Florida to pursue my dream to be a student athlete in the United States. My goal is to graduate from high school and obtain a college scholarship to play basketball and complete my preparation to become a physiatrist or chiropractor.
I started playing basketball at 5 years old and since that date it has become my passion. I learned to play from my father who has been my inspiration since my childhood. As a basketball player I think some of my greatest strengths are my leadership skills at the court that allow me to make my teammates better, a positive attitude no matter the pressure of the game and been a good listener, respecting feedback from my coaches and teammates to continue my development.
I take my preparation as an athlete very seriously by working my body strength and skills at least 5 times a week and my preparation as a student by maintaining a 4.00 GPA.
I invite you to join me in this journey and believe in me and my game.
Thanks.
