My name is Justin C. Saunders. I am a 5'8 sophomore who goes to Dunbar High School. I choose Dunbar because of its Engineering and S.T.E.M. programs.
My parents have made college an expectation for me. They always push me to do my best in school so I can someday go to the college of my choice. I do not know yet what I want to become, but I believe the school I choose will help me become whatever I want to become. College can help me with my curricular and non-curricular paths. I am a solid B student who sees basketball as a passion and an opportunity. I have been playing basketball for three years. I am under the average height of a normal shooting guard but I make up for it with techniques to get to the basket and a steady three point shot. I am a warm person who tries to motivate my teammates to do better. I am use to playing competitively. My mother and father were athletes who taught me to be a team player, regardless of if we win or lose. They also use the same beliefs regarding my school work. If I fail a test I shouldn't get angry, I should learn from my mistakes and study for the next one to pass. Currently, I take all honors classes. My education is just as important as sports.
