Athletic Aspirations and Plans
I am a demonstrated leader and play at the varsity level in both football and basketball at my high school. I continue to get quicker, faster, and stronger as high school continues - I consistently work on my athletic speed, strength, and agility at home, at the local recreation center, my local YMCA, and at a local sports performance center for daily depending on my academic workload.
During football season I work on my QB footwork, quick drop, three-step drop, five-step drop, and throwing on the run all while throwing various routes for 30 to 45 minutes 3 to 5 times a week. I continue to improve my short quick throws, long throws, and medium level throws while maintaining my ability to extend the play with my scrambling. I work with a several personal QB coaches to improve my QB IQ studying films and learning pre and post snap reads.
During basketball season, in addition to my regular speed, strength, and agility workout I regularly practice my ball handling, attacking the basket, three-point shooting, and pull up shot. I attended a ScoutsFocus Elite 80 Camp in Orlando this summer playing at the varsity level and will continue to attend camps next summer. I have played AAU level tournament basketball since the 5th grade and will continue to play with the NavCity Elite through my high school career.
I am committed to playing football and/or basketball at the college level. I have always, and will continue to put in the extra work outside of regular practice time to improve my athletic skills on the field/court and my academic skills off the field/court. I understand the importance of character and conduct myself appropriately during social events in person as well as on-line through social media.
