Troy Wawrzyk '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Troy Wawrzyk, Tenoroc High School, Lakeland florida. i am 6-0, 175#. My strongest athletic skill is shooting guard. i am an awesome defense player and usually  play in that position. As a freshman player my goal was to bring the team to championship. Throughout the remaining years in high school up to 12th grade, I strived to do the best I could competitively as a shooter and defense player. My goals were to bring us together as a team and take us to the championship.  i changed schools for 11-12  grades due to wanting to play for a better coach who I knew could teach me more plays, and help me to sharpen my shooting skills. My strongest points rely on defense and shooting and the teams i played with looked to me for this support.  i am looking to attend Divisinon 2-3 schools   so I can build on my skills at a college level. ii have been playing basketball since the age of 6, played with known coaches who have helped me develope my skills as an athlete. My GPA has been 2.7-3.0. My realistic goal as a freshman in college is to make the team. It is my dream to play in the NBA and has been for many years. Hard work and dedication is what I do everyday and will continue throughout my life on and off the court.   have coached basketball at t he city level for serveral years and brought our team to the championship. I would many times walk to the gym for practice as my parents both work, and my brother was away to college. i usally was the first player there and one of the last ones to leave gym. My desired major is business.
