Max Fischer '13 Recruiting Profile

I am in my first year at Florida Tech and love school and cannot wait till basketball season starts. Last year I had 21.2 PPG with 9.2 RPG in one game I made a 3/4 court shot and almost had a triple double 22-12-9 had 11 double doubles with 14 games over 20 points. last season I had 474 points and 186 rebounds (first in county).

For the past 4 years, I have worked for Big City Basketball in Viera, Florida which is a company that holds Basketball camps for all ages. I am a senior Counselor/Coach, teaching people basketball skills, as well as the fundamentals. I have been personally trained and coached by the owner, Dave Gartrelle. His father was a Harlem Globetrotter the nephew of Nate Archibald. He runs summer camps for professional teams like the NY Nicks, Miami Heat, and the Orlando Magic. He personally mentored Joakim Noah. I have learned tremendously from his direction and have grown considerably. I am often the "featured coach" and have been the lead coach in camp lectures, responsible for the entire content from setup to breakdown of a weekly camp.
