Benjamin Lipson '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to get a great overall education with a major in business, and of course to play basketball.  I look forward to the opportunity to make a significant contribution to a team.

I feel that I am a good candidate for any team because my coaches have told me that I have a high basketball IQ. When the opportunity presents itself, seeing the whole court, I am able to pass and create the right play, whether it means scoring or passing to one of my teammates. I play with a calm and controlled intensity and I am always aware of whats happening on the court. I pride myself in being a student of the game.  I was named team MVP in my junior year.

I am different from other recruits in the sense that I never put myself ahead of the team’s success. I am also an honor student looking to achieve high academic standards. I truly love the game of basketball and the positive impact it has had on my life.
