Miguel De Los Santos '19 Recruiting Profile

I’m a  5’11’’ shooting guard/small forward from Pembroke Pines, Florida. I have started on the ISCHS high school basketball team 2 years and was the defensive player of the year on my team. I never fail to give my 100% when I am on the court and it is my most meaningful desire to play sports in college.I have a current 3.0 GPA.

Ideally, I would like to attend an institution that has an appropriate balance between academics and sports activities.I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, although I will absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities.My ideal athletic surroundings would be one that I could have the opportunity of making an immediate impact on the team. I would like to pursue an institution that has an outstanding academic reputation in the field of medicine. I would like to attend a school that has a suburban setting, but if that’s not possible I am willing to adapt to life anywhere. The size of the school to me does not matter because I believe that both big and small schools have great things to offer. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have a high need.
