Bersil Cox Jr '22 Recruiting Profile

Coach, My name is Bersil Cox, and I want to discuss my interest in becoming apart of your school for this upcoming 2022/23 season and beyond! I am a 6’0 Point Guard from Freeport, Grand Bahama (The Bahamas), and I am apart of the post grad class of 2022 . For the past 6 months I’ve been playing Organized basketball an Two Twelve Sports Academy in Sarasota, FL for John Mahoney. The summer passed I’ve worked out with multiple Division 1 players and Pro players as-well (Trainer Homer Gray). As you can see in the film  I take pride in defense and take charges whenever Possible . I believe that intensity on defense helps the game become easier for a team.I push the ball in transition looking for easier opportunities for my teammates, and I am a knockdown shooter.A  3 level scorer being aggressive in driving for the layup (absorbing contact for fouls or and 1’s) or drive and kick outs, jump shot or three pointer. Although I can score, my main priority on the court is to get my teammates the best shots possible and being a floor general. I would love to help improve and contribute with my play, academics and leadership both on and off the court and I feel that If granted the opportunity I would be an incredible asset to your team/ program. 

Academics are a top priority for me, and I would love to continue my education at a school who takes pride in it. I also can provide transcripts if necessary and workout film. I am looking forward to hearing back from you and the feed back that you’ll be giving, let me know what you think!
