I desire to play basketball at the professional level. I am aware of how hard it is to become a professional athlete and sustain a career. Though I still want to give back to the game I love when I'm no longer playing, that's why I aspire to obtain a degree in Health Science/Kinesiology for the purposes of becoming an Athletic Development Coach. I am a great candidate for your program because above talent and basketball skills I am very disciplined in the area of academics and I have a great character. My mom taught me that your gift can take you where your character can't keep you so I take pride in possessing an excellent character. I believe that you have to work for you want and it's not achieved by receiving handouts. I love to be around people that are willing to push me to be my best and I push them the same way.
I don't mind being coached. I expect that actually, because I can't learn to be great by myself. I have to learn from others experiences to navigate my journey and end up where I want to be.
