I’ve played organized basketball since the age of 3. I always started as well as played the majority of the game being the go to man until I got into high school. I’m a freshmen on varsity but with limited minutes not because of my lack of talent but due to coming off the bench behind upperclassmen. I’ve had to adjust to not being a starter as well as playing limited minutes considering my previous basketball history. Doing this is making me mentally tough & has taught me patience that I have to continue to work hard no matter what and stay humble, pay my dues and make the best of my time given and to trust the process. My greatest attribute is my high basketball IQ which is a very important trait as a point guard. I love getting my teammates involved making everyone on the team a great player. One thing I believe to the fullest is that if you think & achieve as a team the individual accolades will take care of themselves. I always like to compete at a high level that’s why I played up 1 to 2 grade levels when the opportunity presented itself. I have several highlight videos on YouTube since age 9 one where I was playing on a 7th grade team as a 5th grader and another as a 8th grader playing against high schoolers where I led my team to a undefeated record resulting in winning the championship where I hit the game winner 3 pointer buzzer beater!! I have also hit several clutch buzzer beaters throughout the years under pressure stepping up when my team needed me the most. I feel very confident in my game that if given the opportunity I am very capable of playing at the college level. I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic & leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I currently play AAU basketball on a 17U team & I am 15. I just won MVP at the tournament on 4-20-18 to 4-22-18 and I also was the starting PG for all games.
