In life it is important to have many dreams and aspirations because it gives value to your life. Dreams and aspirations are something that you are willing to work for, they are tangible, and can be rewarding. One thing I aspire to do is to play basketball at the highest level of competition at the collegiate level. I know this saying may sound a little cliché but basketball is everything to me and has opened up a new understanding of life for me and since taking it seriously in the 6th grade I have dedicated my time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears into the game I truly love so that I am put in the best possible position to succeed. If I continue do work hard I know for a fact that the results will show and I will make this dream a reality.

To be successful in basketball you not only have to be skilled on the court but in the class room and at home. Some things I have done to portray that are studying hard to achieve good grades which will allow me reach my dreams and goals, aspiring to be more Christ like which will show me how to be humble, respectful, and overall a better person, and by working for everything I wish to maintain because in this world things are earned not given. I believe that if I remain on this path, I can continue to achieve a better education which will allow me to pursue a successful career in the field of business management.

Overall, basketball has opened up a better understanding in which I can live by. It has taught me the importance of patience, hard work, dedication, maintaining good grades, and remaining humble. With these keys I will be prepared for the many life situations that will occur on my road to greatness.
