I play football and basketball and I'm a huge gym rat. I have grown a couple inches in the past few months and I think I'm still growing. I want to play D-1 college basketball and I'm good enough. I just need a chance. I am the hardest worker around and nobody trains harder than me.
My dad played basketball at Georgia Tech and had his jersey retired. He was drafted 15th pick in the first round and played 12 years in the NBA. My mom went to Cornell University and swam for 4 years. She then went to Duke Medical school and now works as a Dermatologist.
Like I said, I'm still growing and have a lot to prove. My dad grew 4 inches going into his senior year and now he is 6 7''. My mom is 5 10", so I think I will be pretty tall one day.
I play AAU for 17u -Team Harpring, and I am the only rising junior on the team. We have a lot of talent on our team and we play against the best competition in AAU.
In football this year, I started as a sophomore (one of 2) at OLB and Wide Receiver. We lost in quarterfinals of state, and ended the season with only 2 losses.
For school basketball, I started as a shooting guard as a sophomore this year and we made a great run in the state playoffs, where we lost in the final four. I had a really good year and I was a major part of the team.
I'm looking forward to tearing it up this spring and summer in AAU!
