Alex Abernathy '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm an extremely hard working, well-spoken young man who could bring leadership, positivity, and an example of good character to a basketball team.  I am very physical and scrappy on defense and will get every 50:50 ball.  I play with a chip on my shoulder because I'm under-sized and make up for it with my IQ, hustle, and shooting ability.  My GPA for courses taken at high school is 4.0, however with college classes taken at Gordon State College it stands at 3.82 or weighted at 3.85.  I am a guard standing at 6'0" that can handle/distribute the ball as a floor general as well as a spot up shooter.  I truly believe I could be an essential part to a college basketball team and put the team before myself in all aspects.  On and off the court you can count on me to set an example and do what is expected and far beyond.  I desire to play basketball at the collegiate level and will do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal.  I WILL WORK HARDER THAN THE OTHER MAN.
