Coming from an immigrant family good character and strong work ethic on and off the court has been instilled in me. Since was 7 years old, I have loved and participated in sports; primarily football, track and basketball. I have also earned a brown belt in Taekwondo. However, around 8 years old basketball became my love. My parents never had to remind me of practices or games. I could lose track of time while playing sometimes 4-6 hours straight and then would fall asleep to sleep with the ball in hand. Sports have given me a sense of purpose, discipline and teamwork. I don't just play the game of basketball for myself I also study the game daily to increase my IQ and to provide value to my team and coach. I am coachable and want to be an asset to my team mates by learning the positions of my team mates to increase efficiency and scoring opportunities for the team and myself. I work on my health, body composition and skills multiple times daily while also being serious about my school work.
