My name is Derrick Brown, Jr.  My goal is to obtain a degree in Technology and continue competing in basketball while pursing my dream.  I am a good candidate for any collegiate team because of my dedication in the classroom and my determination to compete on the court.  I take pride in my school work, and I believe that my academic excellence will allow me to be successful with the rigors of being a student athlete.  I am dedicated to my game as I continue to work and train to get better and improve my performance.  I have a high motor and competitive spirit that drives me to be relentless and hardworking on the court.  I am a team player and work to get my teammates involved.  I not only strive to get better personally but help others around me.
