2022
MY STATEMENT
My name is Kai Scott of Grayson, GA (Metro – Atlanta). I just graduated from Grayson High School, Loganville, Georgia with Honors and a weighted 3.63, 1170 SAT (November 6, 2021 score.). My hometown is Charlotte, NC and I have been living in the Atlanta area for the past 8 years.
I have been an Honor student from elementary school to high school and have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. I am also a black belt in karate and have several hobbies that complement my basketball skills during my downtime. My professional goal is to become an engineer or to major in business administration and open my own business. I aspire to be like my Dad, uncle, & cousins who all played college basketball (University of South Carolina, Siena, Trinity, Murray St, Armstrong St, St. John’s, Iona) and earn my degree.
For the past two years, I started for the AAU team, Team Power Atlanta. I play shooting guard with averages of 11pts,53% FG, 85% FT, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 steal a game. I come from a great family. My basketball IQ is very high and I feel I have a lot of upside. I'm 17 years old in my senior year standing 6 ft /2 and still growing. I play shooting guard and can play the point. I'm known to play tough defense, not afraid to mix it up, rebound, and can hit the open shot, especially threes. I would like to attract the attention of all colleges and universities where I can accomplish my goals academically and with basketball.

Sincerely,
