Chance Roberson '19 Recruiting Profile

    Hello, I would like to thank you for your time when you read this. My goal right now as a high school athlete is to get any form of a scholarship to get into a college for and play on their basketball team. Having my parents not pay for college would make me and my parents proud. The major I am going to pursue is communications. I have great people skills and I love to speak in front of large groups of people. I will not shy away from big stages by any means necessary and can mentally take on the role of being a leader and the face of a team. In addition to basketball, I'm the starting tight end on the Pope High School football team. What makes me different than other high school athletes looking to get offered is that I'm a gym rat who puts the team first and does not care about personal stats. I will do whatever it takes to win a basketball game because I am very competitive and I hate to lose. I stay focused in the classroom and know when to put my phone down and focus on my school work. My aspirations in life are to become a great man, father, and husband; to use the skills I learned in my career of college athletics and use them in my household and wherever I work.
