June 2021Personal Statement
Basketball has been a passion since I was 3 years old. I carried a basketball around everywhere I went. I've had the opportunity to play AAU several years now and also played on varsity team as a starter in high school. My will to compete is the source of my relentless, driven attitude. I love basketball and my dream is to use the skills I've learned over the years in my future career playing professionally.
My coaches tell me that my strongest asset is being able to lead my teams. My family and friends have always told me growing up that I have a gift and was born to play basketball. People may think that basketball comes easily to me. Maybe it does, but, it takes a lot of dedication and commitment to better myself daily as a ball player.
My goal is to play NCAA Division I or Division II basketball and receive a full basketball scholarship.
