When college comes to mind, I think of the experience and opportunities I'll have to reach the goals I've set for myself as a student first but also an athlete. In high school, I’ve always been a honors student and I currently main a GPA of 3.84. I aspire to be a engineer, and I’ve set goals for myself that will contribute to my overall plan. I will work hard every day and put in the time necessary to excel in all of my classes while also balancing my athletic commitments. I am excited about earning a college degree and the chance to set the standard for those behind me.
I would be a good candidate for this team because I have a great skill set and I work well with others. As a leader for my high school and AAU teams, I am confident my abilities will transfer to the collegiate level. I am looking forward to being a key player and someone the team can depend on in all aspects of the game.
My character, attitude and will to succeed are always displayed both off and on the court. My basketball IQ is one of a kind and I’m able to make an immediate impact. I understand that I have a duty and responsibility to uphold the values that I have learned thus far in my life and those that I will learn in the future. I look forward to the challenges ahead and I am confident that my work ethic and passion will help me to succeed.
