Zachary Rosen '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Zach Rosen and I attend Rochelle Zell Jewish High School in Deerfield, Illinois. It is my goal and dream to play basketball at the division 3 level. I love  every aspect of the game of basketball more than anything in my life.  Whether it is playing and competing or studying the game on film,  I am fully invested in basketball. I have started on the varsity program since sophomore year, and have put in countless hours improving my skills, as well increasing my basketball IQ. I am a student of the game and love to expand my knowledge in any chance I can. Being a slightly undersized guard I use my quickness and IQ to outsmart my larger opponents during games. My varsity coach, Marty Dello, instills the saying "control the controllables" within my high school basketball program.  I use that moto with my basketball and college recruiting. I can only control how I play and act. I cannot control how others act and play, but I can assure any coach that I will give  100% no matter what as well as  act in the respectful and morale way. I can proudly say that every coach  I have ever had will say the same about me.  During every season of my high school career I have played a sport and proudly managed a 3.5 unweighted GPA.  I am still considering my field of study, but is interested business or finance. It is my dream extend basketball career to the division 3 level and I promise I will be a useful tool for any program that takes me in.
