I started playing basketball when I was in 7th grade. I had played a little before that in 3rd and 5th grade but that was when I wasn't really into sports. During 7th and 8th grade I didn't get a lot of playing time and sometimes got benched for entire games. My coaches for those years weren't very known of my talent because I was one of the better players on the team. I play great defense, can shoot the ball well, and can scored pretty well inside. I can play at any position you want. If you put me up against someone six inches taller than me and I could still play good defense against them. During the summer open gym of my freshman year I have been showing good flashes of a great player and think that the coach will play me more on the JV team. I have great hustle when it comes to loose balls and fastbreaks for my team and when the other team is on a fastbreak. I am really fast, probably the 3rd fastest on my team, and will jump on any loose ball I can. I am also not afraid to take a charge if it's needed. I will shoot the ball if I am open or given enough space and if you need it I can hit a three. I'm probably about a 70% free throw shooter but I believe I will get better throughout high-school. During middle school I was able to keep above a 3.5 GPA and in my 8th grade year I finished with about a 3.83 GPA on the whole year. I play football as well but I am wanting to commit to playing basketball. I am right handed but I can play and shoot the ball a little bit with my left.
