Derek Nagel '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derek Nagel.  I am a 6'10" student athlete who works hard academically and on the basketball court.  I contribute both offensively and defensively however I take pride in my ability to play hard defense and feel it's the strength of my game.  I strive everyday to improve and have dedicated most of my life to playing basketball.   I like to make a difference on every team that I am a part of.    

I am an outstanding student with passions for both aviation and engineering.   This past spring I earned my student pilots license and really enjoy flying airplanes.   My goal is to find a college that achieves my goals of becoming a college athlete combined with pursuing an outstanding education in the field of Engineering or Aviation.
