2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Gavin Mitchell, and my dream is to play basketball in college while continuing my journey toward becoming an attorney. I’ve already earned an associate’s degree in legal studies, so I know what it takes to balance academics and athletics. I’m a varsity starter and proud to compete at a high level. I also attend one of the top academic high schools in the state, which has taught me the importance of hard work on and off the court. My strengths are my basketball IQ, a killer three-point shot, and the hustle I bring to every play. I’m a team-first player who loves competing and pushing myself to be better. I’d be excited to bring my work ethic and passion to the right program!
