Basketball came out of nowhere for me. It is the one burning passion I have that no one can take away from me. I make sure my academics are above and beyond to guarantee my eligibility. I also like to keep myself out of trouble. The one time basketball was taken away from, it wasn't my fault. As a 13 year old playing for my middle school team I broke my arm within a game. While i was miserable not playing, I made sure I uplifted my teammates at all times.
With every team I have been with I have always been a leader on and off the court. I intend on continuing this trend as I hope to proceed and play on the next level. The biggest part of going to college for me is the chance to get an education. I love basketball ,but I also love that I will get a chance to further my education.
