I’ve had a passion for basketball since watching my mom and dad play pick-up games at the gym from the time I was 7 years old. Both played Division 1 collegiate and pro (WNBA and Semi-Pro) basketball. I couldn’t imagine not playing basketball in college and know I possess the skill, drive, and will to be a successful collegiate basketball player.
My academic goal for college is to pursue a degree in Sports Management and/or Business Management. One of the two degrees will set me up for lifelong success and advancement.
My athletic/basketball goal is first to contribute positively to the team by displaying true leadership. To me leadership means remaining positive in difficult times, being accountable for my own mistakes, encouraging others as well as myself, and having a tremendous work ethic that influences those around me. My next goal would then be to contribute to the overall success of the team with the addition of my skill set. Areas of strength include defense, rebounding, and long range shots. Year over year I’ve improved as an athlete and a key contributor to my high school and AAU team.
I’m looking for a good education but also a quality Coach/Leader that can help further elevate my skills and the game. I want to become the best basketball player that I can become. I’m confident that I have the tools to help any college program become successful.
