Personal Statement
If one would describe me they would probably say that I am a humble, amiable and considerate person. I am a student-athlete, who is always looking for ways to better myself, whether that pertains to education, athletics, or my character, I am always looking for a challenge. While I have a love for basketball, education comes first and basketball comes second.
A life lesson I learned is that I need to give one-hundred and ten percent in everything I do. I’d rather fail knowing that I gave my all rather than win knowing that I never tried.
In addition to playing basketball at Baumholder High, I am currently part of the Flex Travel Team in Kaiserslautern Germany and participated in the 2019 Bigfoot Tournament in Orlando, Florida. For the past two years I have been working with my trainer at Fab 5 Gym. This training has opened up my opportunities and skillset to another level and I’m still looking to better myself. I know that I have the potential to grow and develop
I have a love and passion for basketball and consider myself to be a very coachable player. Whatever my coach needs done, I get done with no questions asked. I realize every coach may have a different playstyle but that's why I’m perfect for any team, I can pick up new things and adjust at a quick pace. I consider my playstyle to be diverse, I can be a score first and pass second type of player or vice versa. I play a small forward, although I can adjust whether that be midrange jumper, three pointer, or taking it to the hole. I have a high IQ for the game and learn to read and react to the defense.
