I have been playing basketball since the age of 6. My first aspiration was to join my favorite Greek team, Panathinaikos B.C., which I accomplished at the age of 12. My aspiration now is to learn from the best in the USA. I wish to expand my capabilities and potential concerning basketball and at the same time be an excellent student in a degree of my choice that will make me productive and inspired.
I believe that my achievements so far along with my upbringing and values make me a strong candidate for your team.
I have been raised in a family of 5 where I have learned to be patient and accommodating with others. I have learned to respect, be open and listen to different characters. In my opinion, it is such characteristics that create a healthy team spirit and make an athlete stand out.
Throughout my childhood, I have learnt to be dedicated and determined in order to achieve my goals, both athletic and academic. As I always had a very busy schedule, I needed to concentrate and be efficient: I wanted to succeed in a very demanding school while having basketball practices daily, karate trainings every other day, and private language lessons to maximize my capabilities.
I am convinced that I can be a great fit for your team and I hope I will be given the chance to become a member of it.
